A PRACTICAL GUIDE FOR MIGRANT AND REFUGEE YOUTH BREAKING FREE FROM FAMILY VIOLENCE
The "Break Free" handbook is a new resource, first of its kind, to support young people (16-25 years old) from Asian, African and Middle Eastern communities experiencing family violence.
It is a guide with practical information to support youth to live lives free from violence and fear, featuring stories shared by young women who have survived violence as young migrants.
It will be available for free to all young people accessing Shakti's services.
It is available to be ordered through our online store for $40.00 per copy for schools and the public after its launch on the 10th of March at the International Women's Day event at Mt Albert War Memorial Hall.
